The Company defines contribution income as income or loss from operations before depreciation, amortization, acquisition and integration costs, acquisition-related contingent consideration and corporate expenses not specifically identified to a reporting segment. Contribution income is a financial measure used by management when assessing segment performance and is provided in accordance with ASC 280, Segment Reporting Topic of the FASB ASC.

For the three months ended March 31, 2015, $0.3 million of expenses was reclassified from Nurse and Allied Staffing to unallocated corporate overhead to conform to the current period presentation.
