(b)  Resignation of Director.

On June 9, 2021, Louis J. Lavigne, Jr., a Class II director of Accuray Incorporated (the “Company”), informed the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”) that he will retire from the Board, including all committees of the Board on which he sits, effective June 30, 2021, to pursue other interests.  Mr. Lavigne’s decision to retire from the Board after eleven years of distinguished service did not result from any disagreement with the Company or its management.
