Resumption of Trading on the Taiwan Stock Exchange and the NYSE

Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, Inc. (“ASE” or the “Company”) has applied for a resumption of trading of its American depositary shares ("ADSs") on the New York Stock Exchange ("NYSE") and resumption of trading of its common shares ("Common Shares") on the Taiwan Stock Exchange ("TWSE"). The trading of the ADSs has resumed on the NYSE starting from approximately 7 a.m. on May 26, 2016 (Eastern Standard Time) and the TWSE has approved the resumption of trading of the Common Shares on the TWSE starting from 9:00 a.m. on May 27, 2016 (Taiwan time).
