Fair Value, Assets Measured on Recurring Basis
The Company’s assets and liabilities that are measured at fair value on a recurring basis, by level, within the fair value hierarchy as of September 30, 2017 and December 31, 2016, are summarized as follows (amounts in thousands). The Company’s restricted cash balance of $1.5 million at September 30, 2017 and $4.0 million at December 31, 2016 is not held in a money market account and is not included in the following table.
