Pending Disposition of MetLife Malaysia

In October 2023, the Company entered into an agreement to sell its ownership interests in AmMetLife Insurance Berhad (Malaysia) and AmMetLife Takaful Berhad (Malaysia) (collectively, “MetLife Malaysia”). The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2025 and is subject to regulatory approvals and satisfaction of other closing conditions. See Note 3 of the Notes to the Consolidated Financial Statements included in the 2023 Annual Report for further information.
