Subsequent Event	17. Subsequent Events Common Stock Dividend On October 22, 2019, the MetLife, Inc. Board of Directors declared a fourth quarter 2019 common stock dividend of $0.44 per share payable on December 13, 2019 to shareholders of record as of November 5, 2019. The Company estimates that the aggregate dividend payment will be $406 million.
