Common Stock Repurchases In the third quarter of 2017 through July 31, 2017, MetLife, Inc. repurchased 892,524 shares of its common stock in the open market for $49 million. Common Stock Dividend On July 7, 2017, the MetLife, Inc. Board of Directors declared a third quarter 2017 common stock dividend of $0.40 per share payable on September 13, 2017 to shareholders of record as of August 7, 2017. The Company estimates that the aggregate dividend payment will be $426 million.
