Noncontrolling Interests Subsidiary Equity Transactions As a result of EnLink’s transactions discussed in Note 2, Devon’s ownership interest in EnLink decreased from 28% at December 31, 2015 to 25% at March 31, 2016, excluding the interest held by the General Partner. Additionally, Devon’s ownership in the General Partner decreased from 70% to 64% during the same time period as a result of the transaction discussed in Note 2. The net gains and losses and related income taxes resulting from these transactions have been recorded as an adjustment to equity, with the change in ownership reflected as an adjustment to noncontrolling interests. In March 2015, Devon conducted an underwritten secondary public offering of 23 million common units representing limited partner interests in EnLink, raising net proceeds of $569 million. Distributions to Noncontrolling Interests EnLink and the General Partner distributed $73 million and $53 million to non-Devon unitholders during the first three months of 2016 and 2015, respectively.
