Media library, software and equipment stated at lower of cost or net realizable value, consists of the following as of December 31:

As described in Note 2, amortization is over typically 12-90 months commencing with the month the content is available on our site and is included in cost of revenues on the accompanying consolidated statements of operations. Amortization expense for our media library was $6.5 million and $5.6 million during 2021 and 2020, respectively. Future depreciation and amortization consist of the following:
