Forbes Medi-Tech Announces Timing of Third Quarter Financial Results

Vancouver, British Columbia – November 20, 2002- Forbes Medi-Tech Inc. (TSE:FMI and NASDAQ:FMTI) today announced that it would release its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2002 before market open on Tuesday, November 26, 2002.
