Nature of Business	1. Nature of Business BroadSoft, Inc. (“BroadSoft” or the “Company”), a Delaware corporation, was formed in 1998. The Company is the leading global provider of software and services that enable mobile, fixed-line and cable service providers to deliver Unified Communications and other voice and multimedia services over their Internet protocol-based, or IP-based, networks. The Company’s core communications platform consists of three offerings: BroadWorks, BroadCloud and BroadTouch.
