Our effective tax rates were (0.1)% and 1.3% for the three months ended June 30, 2020 and 2019, respectively, and 0.4% and 1.2% for the six months ended June 30, 2020 and 2019, respectively. Our effective tax rates were lower than the U.S. federal statutory rate primarily due to earnings in foreign jurisdictions.

The Company had no uncertain tax positions as of June 30, 2020 and December 31, 2019.
