RELATED PARTY TRANSACTIONS	(H) RELATED PARTY TRANSACTIONS A Director of UIL Holdings holds a beneficial interest in the building located at 157 Church Street, New Haven, Connecticut, where UIL Holdings leases office space. UIL Holdings’ lease payments for this office space for each of the three-month periods ended September 30, 2013 and 2012 totaled $0.4 million. UIL Holdings’ lease payments for this office space for each of the nine-month periods ended September 30, 2013 and 2012 totaled $1.1 million and $4.4 million, respectively. The decrease in lease payments in 2013 is due to a reduction in office space utilized by UIL Holdings.
