For the three and six months ended December 31, 2021, approximately 2.5 million and 2.6 million shares, respectively, of unvested restricted stock and shares underlying stock options were excluded from the calculation of diluted earnings per share as their effect on the calculation would have been anti-dilutive. For the three and six months ended December 31, 2020, approximately 2.4 million and 2.5 million shares, respectively, of unvested restricted stock and shares underlying stock options were excluded from the calculation of diluted earnings per share as their effect on the calculation would have been anti-dilutive.
