Balances at other banks	Note 2. Balances at other banks The Bank of Greene County is required to maintain certain reserves of vault cash and/or deposits with the Federal Reserve Bank which is included in cash and due from banks on the Company’s balance sheet. In April 2020, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System announced an interim rule to amend Regulation D requirements and reduce reserve requirement ratios to zero. The amount of this reserve requirement, included in cash and due from banks was $3.3 million at June 30, 2019.
