This Post-Effective Amendment No. 71 to the Registrant’s Registration Statement under the Securities Act of 1933 and Amendment No. 72 to the Registrant’s Registration Statement under the Investment Company Act of 1940 (the Amendment) only relates to the Prudential Absolute Return Bond Fund series of the Registrant.

The Amendment is not intended to amend the current prospectuses and statements of additional information for the other series of the Registrant.
