RIM CFO TO PRESENT AT TD NEWCREST TELECOM AND TECHNOLOGY FORUM

Waterloo, ON – Dennis Kavelman, Chief Financial Officer at Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) will present at the TD Newcrest Telecom and Technology Forum in Markham, Ontario on Tuesday, August 9, 2005.
