Waterloo, ON – Jim Balsillie, Chairman & Co-CEO at Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM), will speak at the RBC Capital Markets 8^th Annual Telecom, Media, and Technology Conference in Banff, Alberta on Thursday, February 24, 2005. The session, which is scheduled to begin at approximately 11:25 a.m. Mountain Time (1:25 p.m. Eastern Time), will be available via live audio webcast on RIM’s website and can be accessed by logging on at www.rim.com/investors/events/index.shtml.
