The following amends the participant information included in the Schedules
14A filed by El Paso Corporation on February 18 and 19, 2003 by (1) adding
John L. Whitmire (who as of March 17, 2003 held no shares of El Paso common
stock and 5,000 options) under the listing of directors; (2) specifying
under the listings of directors and of officers/employees that Ronald L.
Kuehn, Jr. holds the position of El Paso's Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer and (3) removing William A. Wise from under the listing of
officers/employees.
