(c) Appointment of Certain Officers.

     Effective May 13, 2008, the Company announced that Mr. Craig S. On, Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Financial Officer, will be assuming the responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer on an interim basis.

     Mr. On was previously appointed Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Financial Officer on March 3, 2008. Mr. On had been Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller of UCBH and UCB since June 27, 2005. Mr. On joined UCB after a twenty-one year career with the public accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he served in the capacity of Audit Director and oversaw the audits of commercial and community banks, investment management and hedge fund companies, as well as multi-lateral development banks and mortgage banking organizations.
