ITEM 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On March 17, 2017, John W. Stanton informed Columbia Sportswear Company (the “Company”) of his decision not to stand for re-election to the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”) when his term expires at the Company’s 2017 Annual Shareholders’ Meeting. Mr. Stanton, a director of the Company since 1997, will continue to serve as a member of the Board and will maintain his committee memberships until the 2017 Annual Shareholders’ Meeting.
