to the Statement of Additional Information ("SAI") dated February 28, 2017, as revised March 22, 2017

Capitalized terms and certain other terms used in this supplement, unless otherwise defined in this supplement, have the meanings assigned to them in the SAI.

Pursuant to a Board-approved Plan of Liquidation and Dissolution, the Nationwide Portfolio Completion Fund (the "Portfolio Completion Fund") is scheduled to be liquidated on or about August 18, 2017.  Upon its liquidation, the Portfolio Completion Fund is deleted from the list of Underlying Funds on page 2 of the SAI.
