This is a summary of certain changes to the Fund for the Period. For more complete information, you may review the Fund's next prospectus, which we expect to be available by April 30, 2026 at dfinview.com/GoldmanSachs or upon request at 1-800-621-2550.

 

Effective April 30, 2025, the Fund changed its principal investment strategy to adopt a non-fundamental policy to invest at least 80% of its net assets in securities included in the S&P 500 Price Return Index (the “Underlying Index”) and other instruments that reference and/or provide investment exposure to the Underlying Index.

 

Effective July 1, 2026, following the conclusion of the Fund’s final sixth-month Outcome Period on June 30, 2026, the Fund will be liquidated pursuant to a Plan of Liquidation approved by the Board of Trustees of Goldman Sachs Variable Insurance Trust.

 

The Fund's net expense ratio increased during the Period as a result of a decrease in the affiliated fund management fee waiver.

Effective April 30, 2025, the Fund changed its principal investment strategy to adopt a non-fundamental policy to invest at least 80% of its net assets in securities included in the S&P 500 Price Return Index (the “Underlying Index”) and other instruments that reference and/or provide investment exposure to the Underlying Index.

 

Effective May 1, 2026, following the conclusion of the Fund’s final sixth-month Outcome Period on April 30, 2026, the Fund will be liquidated pursuant to a Plan of Liquidation approved by the Board of Trustees of Goldman Sachs Variable Insurance Trust.

 

The Fund's net expense ratio increased during the Period as a result of a decrease in the affiliated fund management fee waiver.
