NOTE 5. ASSETS HELD FOR SALE OR CONTRIBUTION

We have classified our investments in certain real estate properties that met the criteria to be classified as Assets Held for Sale or Contribution at June 30, 2016, and December 31, 2015. These properties are expected to be sold to third parties or contributed to unconsolidated co-investment ventures within twelve months of classification as such. The amounts included in held for sale or contribution represented real estate investment balances and the related assets and liabilities for each property.
