Subsequent Events [Text Block]	Subsequent Event On October 11, 2013, Grace announced that it signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of the UNIPOL™ polypropylene licensing and catalysts business of The Dow Chemical Company for a cash purchase price of $500 million. This acquisition is complementary to Grace’s specialty catalysts business and significantly enhances the company’s position as a leading supplier of polyolefin catalyst technologies.
