In 2014, the Company realigned its organization into a One-Juniper structure which includes consolidating each of the Company's R&D and go-to-market functions. As a result of these changes, the consolidated business is considered to be one reportable segment, consistent with how the Company’s chief operating decision maker ("CODM") views the business, allocates resources, and assesses the performance of the Company.

The Company continues to sell its high-performance network products and service offerings across routing, switching, and security to service provider and enterprise markets.

The Company tracks assets by physical location. The majority of the Company’s assets, excluding cash and cash equivalents and investments, as of March 31, 2015 and December 31, 2014, were attributable to U.S. operations.
