Stock-Based Compensation and Stock Awards

During the three months ended March 31, 2018 and 2017, the Company recognized approximately $4.0 million and $3.2 million, respectively, of stock-based compensation expense, which is included in the selling, general and administrative expense line on the Condensed Consolidated Statements of Income. No stock-based compensation expense was capitalized during the three months ended March 31, 2018 or 2017.
