Organization, Consolidation and Presentation of Financial Statements Disclosure [Text Block]	1. Nature of Business *Nature of Operations* Yunhong CTI Ltd. (formerly CTI Industries Corporation), its former subsidiaries - United Kingdom subsidiary (CTI Balloons Limited), Mexican subsidiary (Flexo Universal, S. de R.L. de C.V.), and German subsidiary (CTI Europe GmbH); as well as current subsidiary CTI Supply, Inc. (collectively, the “Company”) (i) design, manufacture and distribute metalized and latex balloon products throughout the world and (ii) operate systems for the production, lamination, coating and printing of films used for food packaging and other commercial uses and for conversion of films to flexible packaging containers and other products. As discussed in Note 23 Discontinued Operations, effective in 2019, the Company determined that it was exiting CTI Balloons Limited and CTI Europe, and during 2021 sold its interest in Flexo Universal. Accordingly, the operations of these entities are classified as discontinued operations in these financial statements.
