Copel Distribuição’s Tariff Adjustment

Companhia Paranaense de Energia – Copel, in accordance with CVM Instruction 358/2002, hereby informs its shareholders and the market that the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Aneel), in response to the Company’s request, approved the deferral of the average tariff adjustment of 14.61%, approved in accordance with Aneel Resolution 1541/2013, through the application of a tariff adjustment index of 9.55%, retroactively to June 24, 2013, and the inclusion of the remaining percentage as a financial component which will be adjusted in accordance with the IGP-M index and included in the subsequent tariff adjustment process.

Aneel’s ruling is a response to the manifestation of the Paraná State Government and prevents the financial health of Copel Distribuição from being adversely impacted.
