Basis of Accounting [Text Block]	1) GENERAL: These financial statements should be read in conjunction with the financial statements contained in Helios and Matheson Analytics Inc.’s (“Helios and Matheson” or the “Company”) Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2013 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and the accompanying financial statements and related notes thereto. The accounting policies used in preparing these financial statements are the same as those described in the Company's Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2013.
