MERCHANDISE INVENTORIES	MERCHANDISE INVENTORIES At October 25, 2025 and July 26, 2025, approximately 64% of merchandise inventories are valued by the LIFO method while the balance is valued by FIFO. If the FIFO method had been used for the entire inventory, inventories would have been $22,624 and $22,382 higher than reported at October 25, 2025 and July 26, 2025, respectively.
