MERCHANDISE INVENTORIES	MERCHANDISE INVENTORIES At April 26, 2025 and July 27, 2024, approximately 64% of merchandise inventories are valued by the LIFO method while the balance is valued by FIFO. If the FIFO method had been used for the entire inventory, inventories would have been $22,403 and $21,789 higher than reported at April 26, 2025 and July 27, 2024, respectively.
