6. Stockholders’ Equity

The Company is authorized to issue 110,000,000 shares of common stock, $.001 par value per share. As of June 30, 2011, there were 62,930,873 shares of common stock outstanding. During the quarter ended June 30, 2011 there were 120,000 shares of common stock issued as a result ofstock option exercises, and for the six month period ended June 30, 2011, there were 240,000 shares of common stock issued as a result of stock option exercises. There were no issuances of common stock during the three or six months ended June 30, 2010. See Note 7 for additional information regarding stock option plans.
