Due to unforeseen delays in obtaining required information from Fidelity Institutional Retirement Services Company, the third-party administrator for the VF Corporation Retirement Savings Plan for Hourly Employees (the “Plan”), the annual audit of the financial statements of the Plan as of and for the year ended December 31, 2005 could not be completed on or before June 29, 2006.
