(1) The Company has applied the optional exemption not to disclose revenues related to remaining performance obligations on its maintenance and repair services as the duration of these contracts is less than one year. Revenues from these contracts are recognized upon completion of the services, which occurs over time.
(2) Includes variable consideration recognized of $7.6 million and $2.6 million during the three months ended September 30, 2020 and 2019, respectively, and $16.9 million and $14.8 million during the nine months ended September 30, 2020 and 2019, respectively, relating to performance obligations satisfied in previous periods on the Company’s retrospective commission income contracts. See Note 7 “Receivables and Contract Assets, Net” for additional information on the Company’s contract assets associated with revenues from the arrangement of financing and sale of service and insurance contracts.
