Item 8.01. Other Events and Regulation FD Disclosure

Basic Earth Science Systems, Inc. held its annual shareholder meeting on January 15, 2007 to elect three directors to serve on its Board of Directors. The directors elected were David Flake, Richard Rodgers and Ray Singleton. Also during the shareholder meeting a Power Point slide presentation was given that provided financial highlights, current projects and future strategies and considerations. These Power Point slides have been added to the Company’s website at http://www.basicearth.net.
