Item 8.01 Other Events

Beverly Hills Bancorp Inc. (the “Company”) announced that its Board of Directors has determined to review the Company’s strategic alternatives, including whether a sale of the Company would be in the best interests of the stockholders. The Company also announced that it has engaged Hovde Financial, Inc. as its exclusive financial advisor. There is no assurance that the Board of Directors will pursue any alternative strategy.
