Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

On December 30, 2005, Deltic Timber Corporation, a Delaware corporation, issued a press release that updates the status of commercial real estate activity within the Company’s Chenal Valley development. The release announced that the contract to sell a 48-acre site to an affiliate of RED Development, LLC has been amended to extend the closing date to 2006, and that a 4.72-acre commercial site has been sold to Bank of the Ozarks. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
