Inventories are valued at the lower of cost or market. The market value of inventories were not recorded below cost as of December 31, 2016 and were below recorded costs by approximately $0.9 million as of December 31, 2015; therefore we reduced the value of inventory in our Condensed Consolidated Financial Statements for this difference.
