Taxes on Income	6. TAXES ON INCOME Income tax expense for the six months ended June 30, 2011 and 2010 was $155 million and $231 million, respectively. The increase in the effective income tax rate for the six months ended June 30, 2011 is primarily due to a charge recorded in the first quarter of 2011 associated with a settlement of certain legal claims (see Note 12), a portion for which a tax benefit has not been recorded.
