Accounting Standards Update and Change in Accounting Principle [Abstract]
New Accounting Pronouncements and Changes in Accounting Principles [Text Block] Accounting PronouncementsIn November 2021, the Financial Accounting Standards Board issued ASU 2021-10, "Government Assistance (Topic 832) Disclosures by Business Entities about Government Assistance." This standard requires additional annual disclosures when a business receives government assistance and uses a grant or contribution accounting model by analogy to other accounting guidance such as the grant model under International Accounting Standards 20, "Accounting for Government Grants and Disclosures of Government Assistance" and GAAP ASC 958-605, "Not-for-Profit Entities - Revenue Recognition." The standard was effective January 1, 2022, and prospective or retrospective adoption is allowed. The Registrants are currently assessing the impact, if any, of this standard on their annual financial statements and disclosures.
