Goodwill

During the three and six months ended June 30, 2013, the Company did not dispose of, impair, or recognize additional goodwill. Accordingly, at both June 30, 2013, and December 31, 2012, the carrying amount of goodwill was $1.3 million. The Company expects to perform its annual review of goodwill on August 31, 2013, unless indicators of impairment are identified prior to that date.

The Company recognized $0.05 million in amortization expense related to intangible assets for each of the three months ended June 30, 2013, and 2012, and $0.1 million for each of the six months ended June 30, 2013, and 2012. During the three and six months ended June 30, 2013, and 2012, there were no impairment charges recognized related to the acquired intangible assets.

At June 30, 2013, the expected annual amortization expense of the intangible assets, net is $0.1 million for the remaining six months of 2013, $0.2 million each subsequent year thereafter beginning with the year ending December 31, 2014, through the year ending December 31, 2019, and $0.1 million for the year ending December 31, 2020.
