Note 10. Income Taxes

The Company recorded income tax expense of $0.1 million during the three months ended June 30, 2025 and income tax benefit of less than $0.1 million during the three months ended June 30, 2024, primarily related to the operating activities of the Company’s Cerus Europe B.V. subsidiary. The Company recorded income tax expense of $0.1 million and less than $0.1 million during the six months ended June 30, 2025 and 2024, primarily related to the operating activities of the Company’s Cerus Europe B.V. subsidiary.
