Note 10. Income Taxes

The Company recorded income tax expense of $0.1 million for the three months ended September 30, 2024 and the three months ended September 30, 2023, primarily related to the operating activities of the Company’s Cerus Europe B.V. subsidiary. The Company recorded income tax expense of $0.1 million during the nine months ended September 30, 2024, and $0.3 million during the nine months ended September 30, 2023, primarily related to the operating activities of the Company’s Cerus Europe B.V. subsidiary.
