Note 10. Income Taxes

The Company recorded income tax benefit of less than $0.1 million for the three months ended June 30, 2024 and income tax expense of $0.1 million during the three months ended June 30, 2023, primarily related to the operating activities of the Company’s Cerus Europe B.V. subsidiary. The Company recorded income tax expense of less than $0.1 million during the six months ended June 30, 2024, and $0.2 million during the six months ended June 30, 2023, primarily related to the operating activities of the Company’s Cerus Europe B.V. subsidiary.
