     On February 23, 2007, Michael T. Cowhig informed the Board of Directors of Wilsons The Leather Experts Inc. (“Wilsons Leather”) that he will not stand for re-election as a director when his current term expires at the 2007 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. Mr. Cowhig served as a director of Wilsons Leather since November 2002.
