This Amendment to Current Report on Form 8-K/A amends the Current Report on Form 8-K filed by VeriSign, Inc. on July 19, 2019.
Item 5.02    Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.
(d) As previously reported in the Current Report on Form 8-K filed by VeriSign, Inc. (the “Company”) on July 19, 2019 (the “Original Form 8-K”), effective July 17, 2019, Dr. Yehuda Ari Buchalter was appointed to the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of the Company. At the time of the filing of the Original Form 8-K, Dr. Buchalter's appointment to any Committee of the Board had not been determined. The Company is now filing this Amendment to Current Report on Form 8-K/A solely to report that, effective July 23, 2019, Dr. Buchalter was appointed to the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee of the Board.
