Explanation of Responses:

1. Mr. Snyder transferred 469,400 shares of FactSet Common Stock to The Charles J. Snyder 2013 Grantor Retained Annuity Trust, of which Mr. Snyder is the sole trustee. He will have complete authority in connection with the shares held by the trust.

2. Note that 415,386 of Mr. Snyder's shares are held directly and that an additional 1,647,762 shares are held indirectly as follows: 436,962 shares held in the name of his wife Susan, 236,400 shares in the 2011 Grantor Retained Annuity Trust, 505,000 shares in the 2012 Grantor Retained Annuity Trust and 469,400 shares in the 2013 Grantor Retained Annuity Trust.

3. Mr. Snyder transferred 436,962 shares of FactSet Common Stock held in his name over to the name of his wife, Susan Snyder.

4. Based on the average of the high and low price of FactSet Common Stock on January 15, 2013.
