Inventories

The Company values its inventory at the lower of our actual cost or the current estimated market value.  The Company regularly reviews inventory quantities on hand and inventory commitments with suppliers and records a provision for excess and obsolete inventory based primarily on our historical usage for the prior twelve-month period.  Although the Company makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of our forecasts of future product demand, any significant unanticipated change in demand or technological developments could have a significant impact on the value of the Company’s inventory and its reported operating results.  As of March 31, 2013 and 2012, the Company’s allowance for obsolete and excess inventory was $166,000 and $133,000, respectively.
