Inventory	Inventory As of December 31, 2012, the Company has $17.6 million of work-in-process inventory. The value of such in-process inventory represents the costs incurred to manufacture Arestvyr under the BARDA Contract. Certain of the existing units of Arestvyr were initially manufactured prior to the point at which future commercialization was probable; thus, such cost was expensed as research and development in those respective periods. Additional costs incurred to complete production of courses of Arestvyr will be recorded as inventory. In 2012, research and development expense included inventory write-downs of $0.5 million.

The entire disclosure for inventory. This may include, but is not limited to, the basis of stating inventory, the method of determining inventory cost, the major classes of inventory, and the nature of the cost elements included in inventory. If inventory is stated above cost, accrued net losses on firm purchase commitments for inventory and losses resulting from valuing inventory at the lower-of-cost-or-market may also be included. For LIFO inventory, may disclose the amount and basis for determining the excess of replacement or current cost over stated LIFO value and the effects of a LIFO quantities liquidation that impacts net income.
